motor mount bushings

ok i jsut got my bushigns for my mounts and i was wondering how i should go about supporting the driver side of the motor to get the mount off ect. sicne all there is is the cran kand oil pan.

Wood block + floor jack...works wonders

If for any reason you ever need to use a jack on the oil pan, get you a 2X4 or something and place between the two and you will be fine. Hell, there are a bunch of oil pans that say to use a wood block if you use a jack on it.

that solves part of my delema. now the bushigns i bought well the energy suspension oens jsut dont seem liek there for my car.

The energy suspension kit is for the front and rear mounts only (last I knew). The side mounts remain stock.

Well all is not lost IMO. The engine twists in it's mounts in opposition to the rotation of the crankshaft so all you really need are inserts for the front and rear mounts. While adding inserts to the side mounts will help a little adding inserts to the front and rear mounts will help the most. But the decision is yours. GL either way.

well i figured since im doing them i might as well do all of them becuase iplan to trubo my d series failry soon and i dont need the moutns ripping apart.

i will im gonna have my local speed center kinda help me out. the reccommened convertingto obd-1 for tunability. but will see.
