Looking at '00 Contour SE Sport

Going to look at this car this week-end with my son (first car for him). Don't know much about Contours in general - what are the problem areas? I know the engine is a DOHC - does it use a timing belt or chain? It's got about 127k miles on it.

Btw, the V6 uses timing chains.
