squeaking noise while driving
Not sure what's going on here...I've taken notice to a squeak while driving. It's a squeak that increases in frequency with speed, and it seems to be coming from the left front wheel (I think it's from there, it might be the rear but it does indeed seem to be coming from the left front). I've checked my tires to make sure there's no nail or pebbles in the treads causing this noise.
I'm had suspected my caliper is walking back and forth, but I would expect the squeaking to stop when the brakes are applied. It does not, it only slows down as vehicle speed slows down. And the brake pads are only a couple months old. Note that I did not replace the brake rotors at the time because they appeared to be ok. Now that's what I'm suspecting, but if there are other possibilities, I'd like to know. One more thing I've noticed, if this helps any, is when I have the steering hard over in any direction, there is almost always some sort of moaning noise. The steering itself is fine, responsive and such.

Re: squeaking noise while driving
the sqeaking could be a bearing.
the moaning when turning hard is probly the power steering pump.

Re: squeaking noise while driving
A bearing...would it just be loose, or would it need to be replaced?
Is the power steering pump supposed to make such a noise? If not, will it need replaced altogether, or are there certain parts that can just be replaced?
