Re: Keyless remote problems

It probably just needs a new battery. Mine uses a Panasonic model CR2025 3 volt battery. You might be able to pick one up at an auto parts store or walgreens.

Re: Keyless remote problems

Get a new remote or your antenna to your car radio is bad(broken, bent, wire cut). I had the same problem with the range and posted the same question. I got no answer other than the same you got. When I was working on it I found out that the factory antenna is connected to a spliter that use the antenna for both security and radio reception. If you replaced your antenna or had body work on that side you may want to check that out. This is all the worse case but I wanted you to know. Try another remote from ebay for about 10-15 just in case.

Wow I didnt know that until now thanks. And I noticed that it has an aftermarket antenna the short steel one with the spirals. I just got this van last month. The antenna screws right in what can i do to fix this. The remote i think is fine it has new batteries but now i know the culprit is the antenna..........I hope

Re: Keyless remote problems

Get a new factory size antenna at autozone or pepboys or any other parts store. Unscrew the old and install the new.
