kind of pointless thread
This is kind of a pointless thread, i'm not looking for advice or anything, just needed to get this off my chest and nobody's on msn so i guess you guys are the lucky ones.
So there's this girl I really liked in high school, boarding school so we practically lived together, anyways we were really close but i hadn't seen her in about 4 months before today because i've been so busy and she's been away at school. so today we finally got to hang out, i've pretty much been looking forward to it for the past three weeks since we've been trying toget together. I don't know, i just really love this girl, she's just so perfect, today we just went to a coffee shop and hung out and talked for hours, i ended up spending 4 hours with her just talking and spending time together. it was awesome. it's just killing me that she has a boyfriend and that she's going to a boarding school so i can't spend much time with her. I don't know, i'm just kind of depressed about this right now. i really want to get over this girl because i don't think there will be much of a future with us since she's gonna go to university, probably not the one i'm going to, and i want to be able to just be friends and not want more. i don't want to have to deal with these damn emotions.

The longer you're friends with her, the less chance of romance.
Tell her straight, I'm really attracted to you and it sucks you have a boyfriend. You'll definately catch her off guard, but at least it's out there. Judge from her reaction whether there's any interest back. But do NOT cheat on her current boyfriend.

i know that staying friends with her and hanging out with her alot is going to reduce the chances, i'm not going to be able to hang out with her much anyways so i don't think that's much of a problem. i was debating whether or not to just tell her straight a few times tonight but i didn't want it to be awkward for the rest of the time, plus once we went back to her place her sisters were there so it would be kind of a weird place to tell her.

I agree with Oz, you gotta put it out there cause its doing you no good bottled up. I almost lost my perfect lady once by not letting her know how I felt... I didn't make the same mistake twice. If you two really know each other as well as you think, then telling her won't be awkward for more than a minute cuz she'll tell you how it is, yay or nay, and then you can move on.

yeah, i'm either hanging out with her this sunday, if i don't leave this lab report to the last minute (in other words i'm probably not hanging out with her this sunday), or two weeks from sunday, i'll tell her then. i could tell her over the phone but that just seems so impersonal to me, i don't like saying anything meaningful over the phone.
