nice sound of engine,

once again up[ on here with a question, 87 caprice ls v6 4.3. Well soon enough i have to take a visit to a muffler shop, now i am looking for a setup that will give my engine a nice and aggressive sound. What is best out there and good for the loot?

Personally I like Dynomax mufflers. Espically the super turbo ones. Magnaflow sound good to.

Its really personal pref on mufflers. Most of the major sites(flowmaster, dynomax,magnaflow) have sound clips. just listen to them and find one you like. and make sure they have one with your pipe diameter inlet and outlet.

Jegs and summit have most of their mufflers and sizes.

but a V6 will always sound like a V6. 2 missing cylinders cant be made up for

well heres another question i am able to get my hands on a 455 high output motor, bad thing is no year motor runs sounds nice but will that motor fit into my caprice without any heavy modifications motor used to be in a buick regal?

a V6 swap to a SBC is pretty hard, its do able. But I dont know about a BBC.

im sure itll be a lot of work and money
