Angry 2000 3.8 Misfire

I have a 200 3.8 I am recieving a 304 code (clc #4). The car misfires under load at about 2500 to 4000 rpm
I checked the injectors found no problem
I also have a rumble in the front end Anti trac light on, Brake light on looks like a christmas tree in side
The car has 195,000 miles and does not burn oil
can anybody give me some advice (besides get ride of it)

Re: 2000 3.8 Misfire

As far as the mis-fire, what is the age of the tune-up? The rumble and ABS/Tac-off lights indicate a bad hub bearing. Since the wheel speed sensors are part of the hub bearings, check the vehicle side of the harness at each wheel for corrosion, and ohm spec the hubs, they should be 1k ohms. If the hubs and harnesses check out (unlikely), you may need an ABS capable scan tool to find the problem.

Tune up about 3 months, new wires plugs and coil packs, I replaced both hub bearings, I did locate a bare wire on the drivers side fixed and still the readings appear as well as the noise
