CarMD
Anybody have any experience with CarMD. It got a good write up in the local newspaper, but I'm wondering what real people think of it.
Its a scanner like device that plugs into the OBDII port, costs about $90. It gives the code, and flashes lights to let one know how serious any problems might be. The kicker is that after scanning, one can plug it into the USB port on their computer, and it tells you what the problems are, most likely causes, and what it should cost to have them repaired. It deciphers the codes for you. The website advises one can register up to three vehicles with the company to get that info. It almost sounds too good to be true. Not overly costly, and it tells you the problems and likely cures. Anybody have experience with it? |
