Acceleration/Hesitation issue?

I have a '92 Civic DX and just recently, I've noticed that if I accelerate hard from a stop, the car will proceed slowly until I take my foot off the accelerator, & the then apply it again. Also, a slight hesitation can be felt when traveling at a steady speed & when stopped at a light etc.

Could this be anything other than the tranny?

Re: Acceleration/Hesitation issue?

have you checked your spark plugs, or done any other kind of maintenance (other than oil change)?
