hub and axle problem

I just purchased a 1992 paseo. It needs axles and wheel bearings. I currently have a 1991 tercel. I realize that the axles and bearings are pretty much the same, and I can't find a manual for the paseo. The haynes manual for the tercel says that pressing in new bearings is too difficult for a shadetree to do, so it doesn't show the procedures involved. I am a proffesional technician and I have the tools available. Anyone know where I can download those procedures, or has anyone done it themselves. My main question is there any way that I can press the bearings in and out without removing the hub from the car? I don't want to bust the ball joints out if I don't have to. Any help is appreciated.

Lisle sells a tool to do the job. I would check with Auto Zone who has a loaner program. I Haven't done one on this vehicle but have done nissan's. I remove the assembly their is a snap ring which holds the bearing in I take out. I then use my 20 ton press and press the bearing out. Then I press the new bearing in and reinstall the snap ring. The tool after you remove the axle uses a screw like a ball joint press and pushes the bearing into a reciever. Then you push the new bearing in. Just remember remove the snap ring first. If you unbolt the strut take a punch and punch a mark beside the cam and strut actually punch both at the same time. This way on reassembly the front wheel will set straight. Use a large socket or coupling so you press on the outside of the bearing and don't damage it.
I have worked on numerous japanese vehicles and the front end comes apart close to the same.
