Need help adjusting headlight aim
Hey, my wife just had some super snazzy headlight bulbs put in her '06 RSX and the first time I drove it I noticed right away that her aim is really off.. pretty sure she's blinding people she passes... I've never done much with these newer cars so I don't want to just dig in.. anyone have any knowledge they could pass my way about adjusting the aim? I'd appreciate it.

Re: Need help adjusting headlight aim
Did she get HID's or just a new set of bulbs?
If the bulbs fit right into the back of the housing, they should be fine. If they took the housing off to install the bulbs, then your alignment might be off, but I doubt that to be the case. Is it just one light or both? Here's a tip from eHow.com - On a level surface, park your vehicle 25 feet back from a wall. Measure distance from the ground to the headlight center, then measure that same distance up on the wall. Use tape for a level line on wall. Center of beam should line up with that line.

Re: Need help adjusting headlight aim
okay so let's say the distance is off... how do you adjust the light up and down? I was just going to try a few things, but don't really want to mess anything up. Any advice?

Re: Need help adjusting headlight aim
Headlight adjustment screws need to be tinkered with. They adjust with a philips head. Check the back of the headlight housing and use the above method posted by mmontO to aim the beams when you identify the screws. Check the manual, too if you are concerned- don't remember for certain if there is anything specific regarding the process, but it won't hurt to look. Just a heads up- everything having to do with the RSX's headlights is a pain in the ass. There is very little space in which to work. I've shredded my knuckles replacing bulbs and spent a good chunks of time removing the housing (involves bumper removal, inevitable bumper clip breakage etc...) Good luck.

Re: Need help adjusting headlight aim
There are two screws in the back of the light housing that look like adjusment screws. Only use the one that is lower and closest to the side of the car to adjust the beam up and down.
