has anyone tryed these pistons?

im looking for new pistons for my gst i was gonna go with stock 2g 95-99 8-5-1 pistons but for the same price i can get topline pistons with rings from slowboy with 8.0.1 compression.... there both the same price but instead of going with the stock 2g pistons and having to mahcine my pin's should i just go with the topline pistons? And has anyone used these pistons?

Re: has anyone tryed these pistons?

If you are broke, 2g pistons are out of the question. The rods take too much machining to accomodate the bigger wrist pins or whatever they are called. Best off getting those. Partsdinosaur on eBay has some turbo pistons for $130 IIRC, if I need new pistons I may go that route.

Re: has anyone tryed these pistons?

If Slowboy is selling them, they must be decent. I've never heard anything negative about Topline rebuild kits, so I'm sure just the pistons will be of the same quality. I'd buy them.
