I have a 2000 Montana and I paid the GM Dealership $100 just to diagnose why my airbag light was on. They came back to me and said that the passenger side seat belt pretensioner had a problem, mechanic came out and spoke to me and said something about wiring ? GM wanted close to $350 to fix it!!!!! Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I am pretty mechanical and good with my hands and i would love to save some cash!!!!
Can anyone help, Thanks in advance!

Re: Airbag light
I have the same problem and it is a loose wire under the passenger seat. Usually sliding the seat back and forth turns the light off.

Re: Airbag light
I agree regarding the loose connector. My light comes on every so often and I reach under the driver's seat and wiggle the connector and the light will turn off.
Good luck, Mark |
