2001 all interior lights on /all the time.?

Just this morning,,, started car,, backed out driveway noticed the interior light were still on, this is the first time.. Need to fix soon... any help would be great , Thanks PHIL.

One of your door sensors is probably faulty. These vehicles are bad for that.
My guess is the rear door. There are switches on both sides of the door connected to the latches in the door itself. Before you tear everything apart try squirting WD40 into the latch mechanism on both sides, often this cures the problem. At least for a period of time until the next 'SQUIRTING'.

I had the same problem last year with my '96 and it was solved by a WD40 squirt into both rear hatch switches and then wiggling them up and down to make sure they were loose. Also for a while I had removed the interior light fuse, just to save the battery, before I figured out the fix.
