overheating problem on '95 200sx 1.6

Not sure if it's the water pump or radiator. I changed out the thermostat and radiator cap. I flushed the system and bled it by unplugging the bleeder valve near the thermostat. One radiator hose is hot while the other stays cold. My heater does blow hot air, the temp gauge does not go all the way hot. What do you guys think? Water pump or radiator? Thanks.

Yes, I think either the radiator is bad or the water pump is bad. But which one is it?

It does not. I think it is because the hot coolant water is not reaching the "coolant temp sensor", or whatever it is called.

Re: overheating problem on '95 200sx 1.6

if the top hose isn't getting hot, then the thermostat isn't opening....at least thats the first place to look. You said you replaced it though.

usually, water pumps leak before or as they are going out. Did you notice this?
