Wip:re Amemiya Fd3s Rx-7

Hi I am new here and this is my first post. Used to make quite a lot fo model before but I dun really paint them because I cant afford to buy too much paint before ...... LOL This is my first model in 3 yrs because i Have temporary stopped making because of school works, and my finance. But now my finance is more stable which i can afford to buy more paints. I got this model as a bday gift from my frd. Okay enough talkin more pics!!!!

This got to be the best fujimi kit i have ever see!!! fitment is good, and the parts are quite accuracy compared to those that i used to make!!!

Undersized rims....... good old fujimi, but since the real one also use the rims that i have on it now so yea problem solve easily!!

Since this car have a wide bodykit but fujimi is still using th chasis from stock FD, it only provide a set of "spacer" for u to put between the brake and thh wheels in order to pull the wheels outward. It cause the car to look weird because of the huge space between the wheels and brakes, therefore i did the next best thing by pull out the whole suspension parts in order to make a realistic look. And sry for the crappy pic.

Although there are a few flaw on this kit, however, fujimi did proivde some thing cool, I believe this car share with the fujimi FD spirit R therefore i got 2 extra wings, an extra bucket seat (the kit already provide 2 front buckter seats), and also an extra re amemiya hood which is from the early version. I already ordered a tamiya rx-7 r1 and put those nice stuff on that car so ppl stay tune!!! another rx-7 should be coming soon!!!

Will be interesting to see your's versus my Aoshima kit when they are complete.

i was tossing up with the Fujimi, but from experience they are not so scale ( ie High ) and always poor fitment... Sounds like they are getting it right for a change.

Update:
Sprayed the body with Tamiya Primer, should paint the color properly tmr depend whether i have time or not. Also forgot to mention that lowering work had been done on this kit, yea rite fujimi's same old problem, ride height....... but this time only the front (lowered for about 2mm).
