Rx7 Re-Amemiya - Aoshima

Just picked up the new Aoshima RE-Amemiya S package Kit.

I am deciding how to proceed.

But it looks like it will be a slightly modified build.

Mainly for lowering and revert to the older rim style.

I have some Nissan GTR Nismo rims. So I will probably go with a Tamiya Brilliant Orange / Black Wheel combo.

I also have a D1 2004 Version in the build so i will post again when they are finished. D1 car will be Flat Black / Bronze for the Street

Excellent fitment so far as usual with Aoshima.

Sorry for the pics last post without pics.

Russ.

Blue 1 is D1 Kit

Yellow is Ver R S-Package

Re: Rx7 Re-Amemiya

The differences are
  • S Package gets clear light covers
  • D1 Gets Light + Vents
  • SPackage Gets Full Street interior
  • D1 Gets Cage and Fake Floor
  • SPackage Gets 2005 Version Front Bumper with a small vent and normal indicators
  • D1 Gets 2002 Ver Bumper and Small indicators
  • Stickers
  • thats about it

They reflect the changes in real RE-Amemiya cars.

I bought a Cwest kit also to reflect my old REAL car
but because the fit wasnt the same between the kits I have delayed that Project, But its still on the cards.

Re: Rx7 Re-Amemiya

Finally made some progress.

Getting there slowly.

First round of colour is on. Roughly.

And chassis has been lowered. Its just the right height.

I still would like some thinner rubber, but I probably wont be bothered.

Suggestions for rim colour..?

Russ.

Re: Rx7 Re-Amemiya

The two cars are slightly different because the S package is based off of the 2005 D1 car and thats why it looks different than the 2004.
