Driver Side Turn Signal

I'm looking to replace the drivers side turn signal and I was wondering what the easiest way to get to it is. Can I have easy access if I remove the fender guard?

Yep...I think the inner fender is the easiest way.
I haven't done it though. I have done the fog light which had to be done from the bottom.

Otherwise you can loosen the grille and the head lamp assembly...but you will have to realign the gasket on the side.

Let me know how you did it..

I just ran into this today. It's PATHETIC. How a design like this gets off the assembly line without someone being drawn and quartered is a disgrace. I started loosening bolts and thought "You know, having a turn signal blinky blinky blinky instead of the bumper falling off while my wife is driving is probably not a bad compromise" so I stopped messing with it. And of course, it has to be like 2 degrees out and start snowing as I go out there to work on it. What a crock. There's instructions in the manual for everything except this.

I'm cracking up. I was thinking the same thing this past weekend, working on my g/f's Escape. Any luck with this? I'm going to try the inner fender approach this weekend when it's 50 degrees outside.

Nope. She got it done when they did the inspection.
