Cool Rough Cold Idle on a 99 SLS

Just bought a 99 SLS. Runs beautiful but on a cold start, it idles kinda rough for about 45 seconds, then runs very smooth. Any ideas what it may be, a tune up or bad sensor? Hopefully something small. Please help

Re: Rough Cold Idle on a 99 SLS

It could be fouled plugs. You didn't say how many miles were on it.

I found out that has new plugs, wires and new coil packs.
It has 86000 miles

Re: Rough Cold Idle on a 99 SLS

I had the same issue (68,000 miles) and mine was due to a cracked spark plug. The ceramic head on two of them were cracked. I changed the plugs and wires and all was well.
