Paint code location

I have a 95 Metro and looking for paint code #, where do I find it?

on a 95 it should be on the door post tag. on the 94 and older its on a sticker on the fiberboard spare tire cover

I've heard that you can also just remove your gas filler door and bring that with you - they'll match the color off the door. I suppose calling the paint retailer and making sure they can actually do this would save some time.

My 93 metro is factory "red" - although the roof and hood have sun-faded over the years to a slightly different red. Some colors may be worse than others for fading - not sure.
