Tow Capacity

Any one have any idea what the tow capacity on a stock 88 caprice brougham is?? I would like to use it to tow my 01 monte carlo.

I can't tell you specifically what it is, but it does have to do with suspension and what the tires are rated at. FWIW, if you do tow a car with it, NEVER run the transmission in OD - 4th. ALWAYS run it in 3rd and do, for the love of all creation, put an auxiliary transmission cooler on it if it doesn't already have it.

so maybe some adjustable shock absorbers then?? how bout the gears? do i have to mess with them any?
