tranny rebuild.

think it's time to rebuild the tranny. i was thinking about buying my synchros from gearspeed and the other parts from them then doing it myself. i rebuilt the motor, but never a tranny.

how easy is it to rebuild?

Re: tranny rebuild.

another guy on here was saying his synchros might be going, and then someone else busted my balls for telling him a rebuild was risky. I think its risky because of how involved and time consuming it is...but hey if you have the time it would be a good experience. Personally I find an engine much easier to build with confidence...I'm sure other guys will say a tranny is easier, but there are so many parts, and all the clearances between those parts have to be so bang on....

Re: tranny rebuild.

I bought a used JDM tranny and I'm loving it.

150 dollars from this place in patterson NY. They have a solid ebay rating.
