Angry Crv 2007 " ! " won't go away

Hi...

I have a problem with my 2007 crv.

The " ! " sign just won't go away. It is a sign that indicates low tire pressure or flat tire. The Honda service department has restarted the computer system, replaced with a new sensor...but still it won't go away. DO u guys think it is defect? what should I do? I'm so annoyed with my new purchased car.

Re: Crv 2007 " ! " won't go away

Are you sure the "!" is for tire pressure? On the '06 it indicates that the stability control system is disabled. The '07 you have is obviously brand new and under warranty--insist that they diagnose it and figure out what's causing the problem. If you're not getting satisfaction from the dealer, call American Honda's customer service line and they will most likely step in to help you.

Talking Re: Crv 2007 " ! " won't go away

Oh well, after going there almost 3 times and spending almost 8 hours, finally it's over. The service dealer found out that one of my censor is broken. I am still kind of dissapointed why a less one month brand new car has a broken censor - I'm just being unlucky. He told me that unlike Pilot or Oddesy, CRV doesn't indicate which sensor is broken. So the mechanics have to figure it out for a million a year...

If they say to you that it's normal to have ! sign on because the new computer system is sensitive to cold weather.... Tell them to bring 2 same new cars and compare it to yours. If the brand new cars don't show that sign...well....you should know what to say..

There are 2 ! signs in the new 2007 crv: One is to indicate a flat/ tire pressure, one is for...mm...I forgot...
Anyway, I'm just happy this thing is over, I hope I don't see the service dealer again for the same problem. Thank God it happenened before the 12,000miles warranty.

consider lemon law after 3 failed attempts to fix....you may not get a new car, but, you may get them to call this into Honda of America for better service bulletins.

You can't just cry Lemon Law because you had to take your vehicle to the dealer 3 times in an attempt to fix a problem. The issue has to be something that "that substantially impairs the use, value, or safety of the vehicle"... a faulty Tire Pressure Sensor does not meet that criteria.
