I might be buying a 2001 Black WS6 Trans Am...need advice

I found a Black 2001 WS6 Trans Am 4speed Auto w/ 52,000 miles.

The dealer is asking $15,995 for it. He may give me $6,000 for my 1998 Firebird w/ 97,000 miles. I drove the car and it runs like a dream. The right turn signal doesn't work and the Trans Am doesn't have a Firebird Emblem Faceplate like mine does. Also the interior is a bit roughed up in certain areas (the interior isn't as good as mine). Where can I find a Firebird Emblem faceplate by the way?

Anyways I might be able to talk him into $9,995 and my car. He's doing a carfax on the T/A and it should be ready monday.

Sounds like a sweet deal. I love WS6's.
You could fix all that shit up from ebay if you had to.

The Firebird emblem on the front of your car. It is a faceplate and it is removable.

$16K for a 2001 WS.6 with over 50K miles is too much.

Also, I have listed my Firebird for sale.

I'm asking $6,500 for it

1998 Pontiac Firebird Red
97,000 miles
3.8 V6
T-tops, Flowmasters, $1,000+ sound system

Do you think $6,500 is a fair price?

not to shoot your car down or anything, and i know firebirds sell for a bit more...
but i did get my 1997 Camaro SS for 6.9K.. it had barely 100K on it, M6, the works..

no matter how good condition your car is, i think max is maybe 5K..

if anything, strip out your sounds, (if its like sub, etc) and keep it to toss into another f-body

For that WS.6....try to get him down to $14K. Settle on $14,500.
I would keep looking if that doesn't work.

Check this out...

Re: I might be buying a 2001 Black WS6 Trans Am...need advice

On second thought....

Maybe that IS a good deal. Seems like the WS.6's are holding price much better than I thought.
Stock mine is still worth $19K or so with 32K miles. At least that is what they are selling for. I bought it for $21K 4 1/2 years ago.
