2002 Remove Front Console
I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana. I need to replace the back lights on the radio. My problem is that I can't figure out how to remove the console faceplate. I have removed the two 7mm bolts behind the drinktray, but have pulled very hard and can't get the bottom to pop out and I don't want to break it. Please help. Thanks.

There are two more SCREWS that hold the console faceplate in place. The trouble is they are INSIDE the console area, just behind the cupholder. The screws go UP in direction. So to get to them, the bottom piece of the console has to be taken out or disassembled slightly to get in there. I have a couple of pictures about how to take it apart on this page. Hope this helps. Take Care,

Re: 2002 Remove Front Console
So once I have removed the bottom part of the console by remove the two screws at the back, there are two more screws that hold the top console faceplate in place? So I will have to remove a total of four more screws (two in the bottom console, and two in the top console faceplate)? Thanks for the pictures, that helped a ton.
