Would you pay $1600 for a used engine
I called a local engine rebuilder they said , Installing a used engine $1600 ( $1440 US) or $2200 ($1980) for rebuilt.
What would you do, To me it doesn't make much sense paying $1600 for a used engine. later |

Re: Would you pay $1600 for a used engine
Well since you live in Cananad, everything is expensive.
If the engine cost is for 1600$, and includes installation and has low miles(50K or under) then yes its worth it. I'd charge about $1000-1500 just to install the motor in a FWD car. Shop around, you can probly find one cheapr but you get what you pay for. Good Hunting!

Re: Would you pay $1600 for a used engine
The amount sounds fair to me especially since it includes the installation. If that was just for the engine then it would be quite expensive.
