Re: New turbo

What are your goals? What kind of car? How much are you willing to spend on it and support mods? The right turbo for me isnt necessarily going to be the right turbo for you or anyone else.

Re: New turbo

I am willing to spend about 3000 on a new turbo set up, and fmic, a new fuel system, and ignition... if it is possible.

Re: New turbo

Ooh yay. I love doing things like this. Heres exactly what I would do with 3g's. Remember, buying used will help you save, just watch what you buy used. Here we go:

DSMlink - $600
Walbro 255 - $100
Aeromotive FPR - $250
650cc injectors - $200
SBR 50 trim - $700
3" exhuaust - $500
Boost guage - $50
JoeP MBC - $40
K&N Filter - $40
eBay FMIC kit - $200

Thats what I can think of engine wise. With the extra couple hundred bucks (and more if you buy a few things used) I would get one or more of the following:

2g AWD front brakes (if you dont have 2g AWD)
Suspension (I recommend AGX/Sportline combo)
A few more guages (oil pressure and water temp)
An aftermarket clutch/clutch and flywheel
A short shifter and metal shift bushings/bearings
Wheels (IMO 1g's arent worth aftermarket rims, get some stock TT 300zx, 3/S, or RX7 rims)
