oh, and the rear panel (behind the bumper) is a bit dented, but we don't know how badly until the bumper comes off.
Not too bad, seeing as the Silvia's front was a biiiiig mess.

:hehe: about thread title,
about Skyline. Good thing the damage wasn't worse, and good thing you weren't hurt. How fast was she going? Funny thing about cars, seems the rears are more durable than the fronts. I got rear-ended by someone going 20 in the Sentra, and it was just scratches on the bumper and a misaligned trunk (fixed in 5 min w/ a screwdriver). Hit someone at 20-25, going forward, and I needed a bumper, grill, headlight, radiator, hood, and, uh, FRAME.

Someone collided with my evil younger brother's A4 quattro (he's not that evil but it's fun to call him that). It was parked in Auckland on High Street near the Dyslexic Bar which is about 18 feet wide (including the bit he was parked on). The other driver hit the car in the rear left quarter, broke the bumper and hit the rear left wheel.
The damage was so bad that the car has been at the shop for 3 months and still isn't back yet. It broke the imported German alloy wheel which was difficult to source a replacement but also rooted (a technical term) the rear subframe. This necessitated quite a few parts (including most of the rear end) to be shipped from Audi in Germany. The car is still in bits so we now expect it back in a few weeks time... |

Sorry to see your baby hurt.
I'm sure you'll have her back to new in no time.

Sorry to hear the GSW got attacked by one of those pointy nosed buggers. Just be glad you don't drive an Exige or Elise, there would be nothing left
Ahhh driving a Grand Tourer pays off
