94 Suburban 350 4X4

I have a 94 Suburban 350 4X4.

Lately the damn thing wants to take off on me when at a stop light...
When stoped with brake on, the engine will race then idle then race , almost like it has a mind of it's own.... What do I need to replace and how much is it....lol

Other than that the engine still has plenty of power, burns a little oil, but has 200,000 on it...

You should looks at the TPS. When they go bad, it can tell the ECM that you have pressed the gas pedal, but you have your foot on the brake.

You can either back probe the TPS or use a scan tool to see what it is reporting.
