Getting back a lost child
My girlfriend needs a car, so we're on cars.com looking around. She's into 3000gt's because she loves mine, so we look up ones for sale around here. Low and behold my SL that I sold 5 months ago is back up for sale! and for almost $1k less than what I sold it! So we went and looked at it today, turns out the kid that bought it lost his job right after buying and just can't afford the payments. Everything about it is still the same, so if all goes well at the bank next Tuesday, i'll have my old SL back in the family

Driving it today made me realize I missed it a little

Good thing too cuz I wanted my clear corners back lol.

damn thats weird. You rented your car to him for 5 months for $1000 lol.

I still own my 1st car...so i cant really imagine what thats like. Ive never sold a car that really meant anything to me lol. Congrats though man. dont let the little lady wreck it on ya now.

About 4k...only thing he did wrong was put a bubble in the sidewall in one of the tires...but I still have warranty coverage on those tires . But i'm gettin it for sure now, sometime tomorrow!

Man this forum has really slowed down lately! Guess i'll update!

The SL is good, I drove it a couple times...holy sh*t!!! its SO sloooowww!! LOL I used to think it had decent power...boy was I wrong...its like *floor it* "waiting for boost, waiting for boost, waiting for boost, redline, wtf!" lol

she loves it, just had to teach her to drive stick though...she doesn't quite get it 100% yet but she's getting there, I taught her how to shift without destroying synchros so I don't have to worry about that, she took to it really well though.
