which brand water pump(3L v6) is better/best?

I'll be changing the timing belt soon and I'd like to hear from your experiences which water pumps last as long the OEM but at better price.

I changed my OEM waterpump 6 years ago because it was leaking out the weep hole. I used a Bosch pump I bought at PepBoys with their lifetime warranty. Still pumpin away just fine. Think I paid $30.

Re: which brand water pump(3L v6) is better/best?

Hey RIP, be careful not to get rebuilt components from Pep boys, I brought home a "P.B." rebuilt powersteering pump for my "88 Caravan a few years back and took the hose caps off and out came black dirty fluid! All that thing had was fresh paint! They gave me a refund no prob. but I got a better pump from NAPA. Wonder who actually makes the pump for Bosch?
