vacuum hoses

I am asking this question for my friend who put a sr20det in his 240sx. Does anyone know how to hook up the vacuum hoses on a sr20det? Or can you give me a link to a website that shows how to do it? This problem is really kicking his ass. Thanks in advance.

there are three that come out of the intake manifold. the big one goes to the BOV alone. nothing else, no T's.

ther is a small one just above the throttle body to the left that should go to the fuel pressure line to the right of it. that is also the same line that you would tee into to hook up your boost guage.

the other small one just goes to that charcol box that is usually disconnected since it is just for emmisions. u can just block that one off. or im sure u can also just use it as an extra boost/vacuum source if needed.

does he still have the stock recirc BOV nad shit in ther?
i took all that out whan i put my front mount in. i put a boost tap into the silicone coupler that connects the turbo to the intercooler pipe. i connected that straight to the wastegate actuator. make sure that shit is on ther good, mine came off one time and since ther was no pressure to open the wastegate. the boost never stops. i hit 19 psi with my stock t25 before i realized what was going on. that is also the same line you would tee into for your boost controller. if you do that, make sure you get a tee with a flow restrictor on one side. i belive the tee should have the flow restrictor side connected to the boost source, and then it doesnt mater wich one goes to the actuator and the boost controller.

im pretty sure thats how it is, anyways thats how mine is but im sure that ther are other ways to do it too.

i might be able to take pics of my shit in a day or so but my friend has my camera invegas right now, not exactly sure when he is gonna be back.

anybody can feel free to make any corrections as needed as i am no pro

the vacuum line that my index finger is touching is the one that is blocked off. it goes to nothing but im pretty sure that you can use it as a boost/vacuum source if needed. it is located on the bottem left side of the throttle body.



you see that vacuum line on the left side, kind of right in the middle of the pic. one you can see where one of the ends go, and then the other part of the tee goes to my boost guage. then there is that larger one just to the right of the smaller one. that is the one that goes to my BOV. ther should be no tees at all with that line.



this is the tee used for my boost controller. that line that tees off into the topp of the picsture goes to a direct boost source. i have it taped into the silicone coupler that connects the IC piping to the turbo. then theres that line that goes towards the bottom of the pic, that just goes straight to the manuel boost controller. than the last line, the one that goes to the right side of the pic, goes into the wastegate actuator.

i dont know what that is but it says hose connection on it. the red arrowed hose goes to nothing. and same with the blue arrowed one, i dont know where they go.
