Help, back hatch door stuck shut

Hiyas,

My first post here. We got rearended by a semi-truck the other day in our 1997 Grand Caravan, (softly), but it did dent the ass end and now the hatch won't open.

Pretty sure I could pop the dent out from the inside if I could figure out how to get to it or even just get it open for further inspection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jeff

Welcome aboard. Why mess with it? He rear ended you, he is at fault. His insurance will foot the bill.

No choice really. I wasn't there and my wife didn't get his insurance information, so here I sit.

You'll probably have to remove the inner trim panel.
