\m/ Job for a Cowboy \m/

Not many metalheads know of them, surprisingly. They're the best new thing to hit metal, and they fucking hit hard.
Get to listening to their album, Doom, with great songs like "Knee Deep" and "Entombment of a Machine", and the creepy fucken intro, "Catharsis for the Buried". The Vocals are the harshest i've heard and the ludacris drumming will really hit you.
edit:
Here's a putfile:

Music Video - Entombment of a Machine

Re: \m/ Job for a Cowboy \m/

i'm willing to give any music at least a shot but i just can't believe people actually listen to that shit on the regular. i can't understand one word the guys "singing" and i think I'd have a massive head ache after listening to a full album of that. i say this as a former metal-head so don't be offended.

not really my think, i like understanding, or at least somewhat understanding, what the singer is saying. i like metal, just not this kind.

You fucking scene kid. JFAC is good, but I was always more of an All Shall Perish fan.

Re: \m/ Job for a Cowboy \m/

to each their own. me? oh goddamn, i can listen to that all day! i try and learn to appreciate all music, try and understand why an artist is liked by their fans. I admire most artists... most. when it comes to to emo bands, some indie "scene" bands, and even hxc metal like Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold (sry fans) i can't stand it.
also, if you want to know what they are saying... look up lyrics.

Re: \m/ Job for a Cowboy \m/

I'm not really feeling it. I have a ton of music of just "screaming" but just don't care for them really. But I do like the sound itself.

Re: \m/ Job for a Cowboy \m/

meh, not enough guitar melody for me, just alot of chugging.

yea the new atr album is kick-ass. the drummer from atr was actually going to play for this band at some point. he quit atr to join them, but i heard he got fired cause he only wanted to record and not tour. he was really a great drummer too. the drums on the fall of ideals were way better than on the 1st 2 albums. althogh i still like this darkened heart the most overall.

Hell yeah Job for a Cowboy kicks ass. They are going on tour with another one of my favorites from my hometown of Rochester, PsyOpus.

(Didn't pay attention to this post for a long time)

But anyways, Trivium and A7X=anything but hxc

hxc=Bury Your Dead, Hatebreed, etc.

Trivium and A7X=knockoff bands in denial (Metallica and GnR/Motley Crue, respectively)
