2000 Jetta VR6
Just bought a 2000 Jetta VR6 - manual trans and loaded.
It has the premium sound system in it with the in trunk CD stacker. My issue is that the radio reception is terrible, and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Are the German Auto makers just no good at making a decent receiver? Are Jettas famous for having poor reception? The sound system is great, just the reception problem.

99% of the time the antenne mast and base are bad. I would start with replacing that and see if reception gets better.
