95 Cutlass Brake light problems
My 95 Cutlass Supreme left and Right brake lights will not work but the center one in the back window seems to work fine. I don't have much money right now and really need the car to get to work and back. any suggestions? Can I some how splice into the center light wires to run to the left and right, if so how can I do that?
Thanks |

Re: 95 Cutlass Brake light problems
Check the connections and look at the micro switch under the dash on the brake pedal. Sometimes these will go bad and will not properly activate the brake lights. You may also want to check the grounds to the lights as that may be another area where a problem exists.

Re: 95 Cutlass Brake light problems
Thanks GTP, but since the center light is working I assume the switch is also working. I found other posts that say the problem is caused by the turn signal switch, which seems odd but my left turn signal has had problems lately (won't blink). I guess I will tackle the task of replacing the switch, it is already on the way.
