Belly-Tank Racer 1/24

Hello people,
after longer time am I again once there. I would like to present my newest model here. it is a Belly tank racer. those wraps is manufactured of me.
the material is Resin.

I love it! I've forever wanted to build a belly tanker but haven't been able to find a kit in 1:24 and lack the ingenuity to do it from scratch! I love this build! Keep on it, and keep sharing!!

Kits are easy to come by and are great



You can get them from Hapico in the US http://www.hapico.com/ Look in the 1/24 Kits section The red and yellow tankers where built and photographed by Dale King.

the building report:




here see you as I mean tank halves to plastiksheets made.



this half was poured off


and with resin filled



this full half was fastened with a double-sided tape to a plate


from an o, 75mm plastiksheetplatte a form was provided and with resin filled


before resin hardens it was taken




and over half pulled



the universal usable tank half is finished

the under soil was flattened

Kurtl,

Very nice job!!! I like your technic for making the tanker body, kind of like vacforming with resin, good thinking. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
