Uh oh... engine swap questions

So I was wondering about the CA18ET or the CA20E, would they swap into an S13 like an sr or a CA18DET. Would it even be worth it, Im not really looking for power, just better gas mileage and factory turbo.

Re: Uh oh... engine swap questions

well they didnt come stock in an s chassis, so you're most likely going to have more issues in general. i honestly dont know though. i would rather just swap in a ca18det and leave it near stock if i wanted cheap stock power.

Re: Uh oh... engine swap questions

hmmm, I wonder how much I can get a CA18ET for, I might look around. Might just be cheaper to buy a good condition S12 though.

Re: Uh oh... engine swap questions

you can usually find CA18DET's pretty cheap, less than SR's. not sure about the swap tho... and CA20E isnt turbocharged so delete that from your last if youre looking for stock turbo

Re: Uh oh... engine swap questions

i don't think using "better gas mileage" and "turbo setup" in the same sentence is good either... =P you need to go one way or another friend!
