Question Trans problems when cold

Okay here we go
94 bonnie
non super charged
195000 miles
when its really really cold car does not want to go into gear if I put it back into park and rev it it will drive fine any help please only car I have husbands is out of commision also posted on seperate board about his monte carlo

check you transmission fluid level, and if you know how to, check your transmission filter. Could be a cheap and easy solution... Good Luck you you..

More than likely it's the seals in the transmission going bad. I had this problem with my 1993 Park Avenue Ultra. I drove that car like that for over 30K. I found in my case if I put it in reverse first waited a few seconds then drive It would warm it up faster. On the warm days it wasn't a problem just the colder days for me to.
Btw, I only had 130k miles when it started to happen to mine.

One more thing. I tried to add Lucas additives to the trans fluid and it didn't help any. There stuff is supposed to be good but it didn't help me any. Just thought I'd tell you that so you don't wast any money thinking like me that if you add some special additive it will fix the problem.
