That looks smart! That's a Tamiya kit right? Never seen it built before, only the boxart.

Thanks, it's the Alpine-Renault A442 Turbo kit #24011, it is still available from some sources. The re-issue has much better decals. Paint is Krylon Sun Yellow, had to scratchbuild most of interior(old motorized kit.

Take a look in the AF Car Modeling Gallery, especially at Steve Gibbins' works...

Thank You,
No I haven't built the Nissan 390 yet. I have done some work on it. I cut the rear bumper unit loose from the fenders and made it almost snaplock in place. I will have to get back to it sometime. I wasn't sure how I wanted to do the paint job.

Mercedes CLK GT

This car didn't race at Lemans but it goes with this thread in a way because of the type of car. Decals were really fun on this one.

Very nice work! especially the Toyota.

More Le Mans cars will be the next projects once the rally cars are finished.

Le Mans Miniatures 1/24th Bentley EXP Speed 8 2002 & Audi R8
Profil 24 MG Lola EX257
Renaissance Transkit for Ferrari 360 Modena
and probably a transkit Porsche 911 GT3 providing this years decals become available.

but these are a way off yet!! 3 or 4 rally cars to build yet.

Steve
