Re: 82 Cutlass Supreme HeadLamps

Welcome to AF Chris!

The fuse block is located under the left hand side of the instrument panel.
The fuses are marked on the fuse block as to which circuit it's protecting.

As for the headlight them selves it very well could be the headlight switch that is faulty.

Hope that helps !

Re: 82 Cutlass Supreme HeadLamps

Thanks for the reply !
At least the SUN was out today to work on this.
Traced *everything* until I had the dash all the way out , and found the turn-signal-lever ( which controls high/low beam ) was jammed with *some* debris/dirt/whatever , and was responsible for the power *not* reaching the headlamps , but going THRU the headlamp switch....

All
IS
WELL

(( had a really dark ride home last night ))

No seperate h'lite fuse, there is a circuit breaker in the switch, check your connections at the dimmer switch on the bottom of the column also.
