I have the 5.7 out of a GMC extended cab that I bought last year. The engine ran great with no smoke and then suddenly it started pouring black oil out of the tailpipe. I bought a new motor before I investigated this one. When I pulled the intake off to use on the new motor, I found that the driver's side intake gasket was messed up. It looks like the oil was dumping out here. The motor didn't smoke even when it was pouring oil out the tailpipe. I used the intake and oilpan on the new motor and gave the passenger side exhaust manifold to a friend that had a cracked one.
So I am offering this engine with about 118,xxx miles on it at an as is sale of $100.00.
I live in Indiana about 30 miles west of Indy off of US 36 by the little town of Bainbridge.
