horsepower guesses?

anyone know by experience or by guestimation what this combo might make

383 with 10.5 to 1 compression from the new AFR eliminator heads, edelbrock rpm air-gap and holley 750 carb w/ vacuum secondaries, out of the box MSD ignition components, and some kind of long tube headers running dual exhaust through turbo mufflers with no cats...

im hoping that this can get me 400 rear wheel horses without any nitrous, just all motor. anyone think this is possible on a longbed chevy truck that has 2 driveshafts connected with a carrier bearing?

p.s. about what speed do stock driveshafts like this usually bend enough to pull out and beat the shit out of the bottom of the cab? i have a feeling that since there are 2 shorter ones, that it might not be a huge problem, but ive been wrong many times before and probably am again

Re: horsepower guesses?

An engine dyno test in a recent Chevy mag with approximately the same combo, made 440 at the flywheel This had an agressive .500 lift cam with 242 degrees duration at .050 lift. So rear wheel hp on average is about 20% less.

Re: horsepower guesses?

so at the wheels it will likely do at least 350 ponies, which i think should be enough for killing ricers that have only a fart can for modifications. maybe ill beat some dudes driving thier dads mustang or beamer too lol. but then again thats different than a poser tuner car
