Fujimi new MX-5 kit questions..

Does anyone know if both of the new Fujimi MX-5 kits have right- and left-hand drive parts, or only the Mazdaspeed version? (the Mazdaspeed version is indicated as having both in the description on HLJ, but not the regular kit).

Re: Fujimi new MX-5 kit questions..

I do not have my kit in front of me right now but FUJIMI used to make several versions out of the same parts. The The rims are the only difference in most of the cases.

W.

PS. There is a Japanese online shop which shows the contents of the kits. Unfortunately I forgot its name

I'm 99.9% sure both kits have both dashboards.

I just got my Mazdaspeed MX5 last week. Great kit, nice engraving, full-detail-one of Fujimi's best efforts ever without having to go to the Enthusiast Model extreme. The MS is molded in silver, has different fascias and seats than the standard version. My only reservations are w/the fit of the hood to the front fascia to the body to the chassis. I may have to tweak the fascia to fit, it's a tad narrower than the body and when dry-fit to the chassis the gap where it fits to the fenders is a little too big. The hood fit in front is really tight.

Just snoop around at Hobbysearch when you want to see inside a new Japanese kit, especially to see the instructions and a few parts. Actually I was worried that the MS version wouldn't have the LHD dash as did the other, so now I'm 99.999% sure the regular MX5 has both dashes.
