Exclamation 2000 Expedition Battery Changed

Recently my battery in my 2000 Expedition had died. I had to change the battery, I didnt keep the engine running while I changed it, and the radio does not work. It goes on to tell me the time, and when i turn my lights on, it turns the light on, it even accepts and ejects tapes, is there a security code or something that has to be done to get the radio to work again? Thanks!

Re: 2000 Expedition Battery Changed

They make a small tool that plugs into the cigarette lighter and has a 9 volt battery this will hold the settings when changing the battery the next time.
I would also dis. the ground wire for 3 min. to try and reset.
