strange noise comeing from front on my z71
99 silverado makeing a strange noise at first i thought it could of been a c/v joint but sounds more like its e comeing from the front drive shaft sounds like a ticking type of noise or two spoons slaping togeather lol thanks if anyone knows what it would be

Do you feel anything in the steering wheel? When does it happen? when you are turning? going straight? over or under a certain mph?

it was doing it all the time turning going straight every speed i dont feel anything in the wheel drives just like it always did i replaced the front u joint on the front driveshaft now it doesnt do it all the time it seems to just do it if i drive it for say 20 miles then it will start to do it again

Have you checked your tie rods, Shocks, coils.. Front differantial? What happens when you put it into 4wheel high or low?

it still does the same thing in 4 high and low i havent checked nothing else i am pretty sure its comeing from the front diff area
