01 limited, adding cd changer

i am adding a oem cd changer to my truck, have the plug and changer, do not have outlet on stereo, does anyone know where it connects?

Well, it looks like the cable on the OEM changer connects in three places (at least that's the case on the 2000). The cable at the changer (C2005) connects to Circuit 34 in the central junction box for power, to the rear control panel, as well as to the radio's C228.

C228 is a rectangular 3-row 20-pin connector. As many as 11 of the terminals will be used.

If you think the 2000 model year diagram will work for you (I think it should be very close), you can private message me with the request and an e-mail address for you that can accept PDF attachments.

The "Repair Guide" section on Autozone's website may have wiring diagrams available for free, or you could subscribe to Alldatadiy.com.
