WIP 2005 Corvette C6
THIS IS MY FIRST BUILD THREAD IN THIS FORUM...IM BUILDING THIS FOR MY GRANDPA (THIS IS HIS DREAM CAR)...MY PLANS ARE SIMPLE STOCK WITH DIFFERENT COLOR ARANGEMENTS...RECENT PROGRESS PICS...

I TESTED DIFFERENT WAY TO LAY DOWN THE PAINT... AND THE CHROME BASE TURNED OUT THE BEST...




THE PAINT IS BY DUPLICOLOR AND IS CALLED CHERRY RED PEARL... THIS COLOR LOOKS A LOT BETTER WITH THAT CHROME BASE COAT RATHER THAN A GRAY OR WHITE PRIMER...ALL I NEED TO DO IS CLEAR IT....

i finally took pics of the body finished... this is it cleared... more update coming soon...they're not the best pics...

Looks good, be sure to wax and polish it too, then that chrome will really come through!
