How do I replace...

These:

One of mine is really screwed up and I'd like to replace them with new ones. How, for one, do I get them off, and two where would I even get them / what are they called?

TY

Side skirts ...

Why are you wanting to replace them ?
Are they damaged or you just not like them ?

They are attached with a very strong double stick tape.
From what I remember it is very expensive.
And around the edges, on the rear section, it wraps around the metal and has pins or screws holding it tight.

I believe if you buy new panels it comes with double stick tape, but I might be wrong on this.
The tape the factory uses is industrial strength,
so when you remove the panels it can break the plastic off and or your paint.

I hav used raxor blades to cut the tape, then remove all the stuff ffrom the body.

Either way its not fun

They are damaged. Somehow the rear driver's side passenger door got caught on something about a year or two ago when it opened and now it's all torn up where the door goes in. You hear a loud pop everytime the door is opened. I'd like to get them fixed (probably impossible) or get replacements someday. But since it sounds like a bitch I might just not do that :P

Re: How do I replace...

Ive always had the idea to take em off and use a filler in the gap left and re-paint for a smooth side

OOhh! Sounds like That needs fixed !
If it is the panel thats poped loose and dragging the fender/panel you can fix it pretty easy.

Get some 1min epoxy, try and pull it open so you can clean out most of the debrie, then just glue it !
Best if you use some good masking tape(not the blu it wont hold for crap) and tape it tight the best you can. Even tho its 1 min epoxy it still take 24hrs(or more) to fully cure.

I used epoxy on the GT panels in several places, like the ends and corners, just dont get anything less than 1min or you'll be rushing (like I did) and wasting it. Stuff's not cheap!
