Here's my Rodeo at Octoberfest

Not too exciting in the parking lot, but the family and I were out together and I had the camera phone so...

Re: Here's my Rodeo at Octoberfest

Looks nice - I don't see many many with the two tone paint. Between that and the wheel well chrome it stands out against others.
Is, ah, Octoberfest a beer drinking sort of gathering with busty serving girls?

Re: Here's my Rodeo at Octoberfest

Folks in these parts wait all year for the opportunity to walk around the grounds of the German-American Social club with a plastic pitcher in one hand and a plastic cup in the other. Unfortunately the serving girls are of retirement age here. There is a large German-American population here, and many German citizens have vacation properties here in SW FL, so Octoberfest is surprisingly festive. I wish I had a picture of Miss Octoberfest for you...

Just how big a pitcher can you get?

Well, sounds like a good time anyway. Bet no one goes home hungry. Nice rims too - forgot to mention.

Thanks. OEM wheels. They are in fairly good shape except for when the kids tried to remove the brake dust with the green side of the sponge on one. We bought this Rodeo from the Toyota used lot. The first driver leased it up in the Panhandle. Got it for several thousand less than comparably equipped Explorers. That was our first choice. Really haven't regretted it.

I took a power sprayer to my wheels this summer. Mistake. I was washing the vinyl siding of the house and the soap/bleach solution was blowing via the wind over to the Rodeo. So I wandered over with the sprayer and plain water and thought I'd save a few minutes of hand washing.
Took most of the silver paint off one of the rims. Zip - it's gone. Mostly black now. Doh!
